Retirement: SQL Insights (preview)

SQL Insights (preview) will be retired on December 31st, 2024. We recommend that you transition to database watcher for Azure SQL or another database monitoring solution by that date. 

We encourage you to make the switch sooner to benefit from the advanced monitoring capabilities of database watcher, including managed monitoring, in-depth SQL monitoring data, rich and detailed dashboards in the Azure portal, and near real time data latency. 

After December 31st, 2024, SQL Insights (preview) will not be supported and will not be available in the Azure portal. You will retain any existing monitoring data collected by SQL Insights in your Log Analytics workspace.
