Retirement: Azure Managed Confidential Consortium Framework (CCF) Service Support Ending on November 22nd, 2024

Published date: Sep 19, 2024

Azure Managed Confidential Consortium Framework (CCF) service support will be ending on November 22nd, 2024. After this date, there will be no further support, and your instances will be scheduled for deletion.

We understand that this change may affect your ongoing projects, and we aim to facilitate a seamless transition for you. Based on customer feedback, we've found that most workloads can be effectively managed with the Azure Confidential Ledger service. This service offers enhanced security, scalability, and provenance across multiple parties. To better cater to your needs, we plan to introduce additional features for customized application control in the upcoming winter months. If you're interested in providing feedback for these upcoming features, please email the product team at confledgersupport@microsoft.com.

Required action

To avoid any service disruptions, we recommend that you begin planning your migration to Azure Confidential Ledger as soon as possible. From September 21st, 2024, the creation of new Azure Managed CCF instances will no longer be possible. Existing instances will continue to be available until the final support date of November 22nd, 2024.

We also suggest considering the deletion of any unused resources as part of your migration plan.
